Protecting Your Brand

This week’s post is a little interesting and also involves a form of social media that I don’t really use, which is Twitter. While some people are always on Twitter it is one form of Social media that had never caught my interest. I not sure if it had to do with the limit of characters someone can do in a post or even the limiting the size of a post. But, that does not mean I wont look from time to time at what some of my favorite companies post. So, for the purpose of this post today is to look at one of those companies and their use of Twitter. The company is again Smart Pack Equine. By now you all have to know how much I love my horses and want the best for them. But, also the convenience that this one company gives for that.

Well when looking at Smart packs Twitter page they do not seem to post all that often. In just the month of December they had only posted four times. To me that is hard to believe that a company would only post four times in one of their social media accounts. Now on another form of their social media they post one to two times a day and that is on their Facebook page. Now the post that they did make on Twitter where very simple ones such as a link to their new blog video that they release this week. But, also a picture of a recipe for a Christmas treat for the horses.

So, their post of Twitter seemed more to give information then to get a reaction from people. But, if I think that they are using Twitter effectively would be a hard one to even answer since I am not someone who really uses Twitter. But, I would think that they would have more of an appearance on Twitter like they do with their other Social Media account. I also do not think that Twitter changes their branding at all and might be able to add to it if they used it more. One can see for themselves this Twitter account and what they post at: https://twitter.com/SmartPak?intcamp=twitter&from=social3 .
